Management Science MBA Specialization Overview
Ashland’s MBA, with a specialization in Management Science, offers a comprehensive curriculum focused on the practical application of essential tools and techniques. From statistical modeling, data warehousing, data mining, programming, forecasting and operations research, students receive rigorous training which empowers them to tackle complex challenges within business organizations.
Instruction in optimization theory and mathematical techniques, stochastic modeling, operations analysis and the design and testing of prototype systems and evaluation models, prepares graduates to excel in leadership roles by combining business expertise with a deep understanding of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) principles and technologies.
Through this program, international students may apply for a 2-year extension to the Optional Practical Training (OPT), which can facilitate earning 3 years of relevant work experience in the U.S.
